Dr. S. Vimalanand is a dynamic leader and a skilled administrator who has experience in Teaching & Research in the field of Computer Science.Dr. S. Vimal Anand, Principal, is a distinguished academician and administrator with over 25 years of experience in higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with research expertise in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), along with an M.Phil. and M.Sc. from Periyar University. His academic journey, marked by excellence and innovation, reflects a deep commitment to advancing the frontiers of computer science education and research. As an approved research supervisor under Periyar and Bharathiar Universities, he has successfully guided numerous M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars and has published several research papers in reputed international journals focusing on wireless networks, QoS in MANET, and related domains.A dynamic leader, Dr. Vimal Anand has been instrumental in implementing quality benchmarks in teaching, research, and administration. He has played a pivotal role in curriculum design, academic audits, and IQAC initiatives, besides developing collaborations with industries and other academic institutions through MoUs and research linkages. His visionary approach emphasizes academic excellence, faculty development, and student-centered learning. With strong expertise in institutional planning, accreditation processes, and digital governance, he continues to inspire a culture of innovation, discipline, and integrity in higher education.

From The Vice Principal's Desk
Dr. V. Sujatha has 21 years of teaching experience and 2 years of IT Industrial experience. Her area of specialization is web mining, IoT and Big Data Analysis. She has published 31 research articles in National and International Journals. She also presented papers in several National and International Conferences and some of her papers are published in reputed journals.
She is currently guiding M.Phil and Ph.D Scholars and produced doctorates under Bharathiar University. She is also one of the reviewer in Science Publication – Journal of Computer Science. She has an ideal knowledge in programming languages, DOT NET frameworks and has developed two live projects using Visual Programming. She also sets question papers for universities in TamilNadu.
Vice-Principal’s Desk:
I am honoured to serve as the Vice Principal (Academics) of CMS College of Science and Commerce, an institution committed to excellence in education and holistic student development. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation across multiple disciplines. I hold B.Com, M.Com, MBA,M.Phil., B.Ed., DCA, PGDCA, and am NET qualified, with a Ph.D. in Commerce. With 21 years of experience in the field of education, I have been committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic development among students. I have also successfully guided and produced M.Phil. scholars in the field of Commerce. These qualifications have enabled me to integrate commerce, education, and technology, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded learning experience that prepares them for both academic and professional success. An active researcher she has published 30+ papers in reputed national and international journals. Her work addresses contemporary issues in commerce and management, contributing to both theoretical advancement and practical applications. She has also presented at conferences and seminars, enriching academic dialogue and inspiring young researchers. At present, I am also guiding students in their pursuit of the Doctoral degree in Commerce, a responsibility that reflects our institution’s commitment to advanced research and scholarship. Beyond my responsibilities at CMS, I am honoured to serve as an External Examiner, Chairman for Question Paper Setting, Resource Person, and Adjunct Faculty across various universities. In these capacities, I contribute to upholding academic standards and ensuring fairness and quality in higher education assessments, while also engaging in teaching and knowledge dissemination.
