About the Department

Welcome to the Department of Computer Applications at CMS College of Science and Commerce, Tamilnadu, Coimbatore. The department was established in the year 1992, with a curriculum in line with industry expectations and research. Over the last Two decades, focus is on holistic learning and empowering students to make significant contributions at all levels. We have grownup our expertise and competence in the core curriculum, activity based learnings and research.

We offer undergraduate programmes, postgraduate programmes and the PhD degree. We offer a good number of certificate and training programmes for providing a wide spectrum of options to the students to pursue their interest. Fully furnished and well-equipped air-conditioned Computer labs in the campus, Moreover, the campus is fortified with ample features that support diverse events – Auditoriums, plush open spaces, outdoor stages, campus greenery and much more.

The college layout has been excellently planned to make the maximum utilisation of the 28+ acre campus. The idea behind these academic blocks & other infrastructure is to make every block equipped with the necessary amenities whilst providing the perfect atmosphere for both studies and research.
