Program Overview

The aim of the course is to develop programming skills among the students and make them expert Technocrats.The course trains the students with in-depth knowledge of programming,and analytical skills. The course also explores related topics like Ethical Hacking .

The course emphasizes the theory and practical aspects of the Fundamentals of Computers.

Credits & Evaluation

Modular Course:

The student must undergo compulsorily a PG Certificate  course offered by the department and the student is eligible to get 2 extra credits for each paper. This PG Certificate course consists of module 1, 2 and 3. Module 1 consists of 2 papers and Module 2 consists of 3 papers and Module 3 consists of 3 papers. Total credits of the modular course are 16. After the successful completion of the Module I , II and III, the students are eligible to get a “PG Certificate in Employability Skills Development” 

Value Added Program:

The department offers Value Added Programmes apart from the regular Curriculum to the students of Computer Applications Department . Various VAP offered are as follows:

Extra Disciplinary Course: 

The student has to compulsorily select one Extra Disciplinary Course offered by other departments and is eligible to get 4 extra credits. This paper is offered as taught programme from 2015 batch onwards. 

Assessment an Evaluation

Two Continuous Internal Assessment, one model exam followed by End semester examination .
