Internal Complaint Committee
As per the guidelines given by Honorable Supreme Court and with reference to section 4 All India Council for Technical Education Regulations, 2016 vide No. F. AICTE/ WH/ 2016/ 01 dated 10th June, 2016 (Gender sensitization, prevention and Prohibition of sexual harassment of women employees and students and Redressal of Grievances in Technical Institutions), Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) has been formed in CMS College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore to prevent sexual harassment of woman at work place.
Internal Complaint Committee sensitizes the female faculty members and students on the prevention and prohibition of sexual harassment of woman at work place. According the Supreme Court’s order, Sexual Harassment is any unwelcome:
• Physical contact and advances
• Demand or request for sexual favors
• Sexually colored remarks
• Display of pornographic content in any form
• Any other unwelcome physical, verbal and non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature.
In keeping with the Supreme Court guidelines, CMS College of Engineering and Technology established ICC against sexual harassment and atrocities against women at the workplace.

Anti Ragging Squad
The purpose of this squad to prevent ragging and maintain ragging free campus
Objectives
To achieve academic excellence in Computer science engineering by imparting indepth knowledge to the students,facilitating research activities and to produce comprehensive knowledge seekers and human individuals,capable of building a strong and developed nation.
Rolls And Responsibilities
- Providing safe work and academic environment for women staff and students
- Providing indisputable justice against all genders who are involved in an unwanted incident
- Working towards achieving gender equity and empowering the women staff and students
- Conducting awareness program for staffs and students on gender equity, women health, safety, security and sexual harassment
- Publicizing the rules against sexual harassment and displaying the policy at various locations in college
- Displays the name and phone numbers of the committee members whom can be reached for a complaint
- Creates a mechanism for registering the complaints
- Conduct inquires and facilitates Redressal of the complaints
- Recommends follow-up action and monitoring to concerned authorities
- Provides appropriate emotional and psychological support to the victims in the form of counseling, security
